WiTWA is a Perth-based, not for profit organisation providing a framework for women in tech [+] to extend their networks and expand their knowledge.
Established in 1998, WiTWA was formed as a network to support women who found themselves in heavily male-dominated industries. First incorporated as ‘Women in IT WA’ in 2005, we re-branded to ‘‘Women in Technology WA’ in 2010 and added the [+] in 2019 to acknowledge the range of backgrounds in our organisation who use and advocate for tech everyday.
With over 3,000 supporters and counting; WiTWA operates as a mission-driven, not-for-profit network under the governance of a highly experienced group of women who are veritable champions for diversity and equality for women in tech [+] in WA.
DDD Perth is Perth's largest community run conference for the tech community. Their goal is to create an approachable event that appeals to the whole community, especially people that don't normally get to attend or speak at conferences. The conference is run on a Saturday, and strives to be inclusive of everyone in the Perth tech community.
Furthermore, DDD Perth aims to both create opportunities for underrepresented minorities, juniors and first-time speakers to present as well as influence the wider software industry to encourage such opportunities more broadly.

The INCITE Awards is WA’s longest running Tech Awards Program (since 1991) and the premier event in ICT for our State. The program showcase’s and supports ICT innovators in WA through an Awards system that places their technology innovation on the national and global stage.
Every year, the INCITE Awards receive hundreds of entries from tech innovators across all ages and industry sectors. The program involves a mentored pitch fest, judging presentation, an Awards gala event, and a national / international pathway for selected entries.
